India’s leading Hardware Peripherals, Notebooks and Desktop PCs maker, HCL Infosystems has announced the launch of their three new products. Two of them are laptops and one of them is desktop. These products are- HTC ME 1014 and HCL ME 1015, and Desktop Series- HCL Infiniti M A365 Pro. All new HCL PCs boasts latest hardware and technologies. The newly launch HCL laptops and desktop are powered by latest 2nd generation Intel CoreT Processors, all these HCL products are also available with Quad-Core processors.

The new HCL computing devices boasts Multi-touch Gesture Touchpad for laptops and HCL Desktop Management Software (HDMS for desktops), and one touch in-built customer service button with HCL Touch. HCL ME 1014 is equipped with 14-inch LED-backlit display, 640 GB Hard Disk Drive and 8 GB DDR3 RAM. It features 1.3 megapixel webcam and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. On the other hand, HCL ME 1015 is equipped with 15.6-inch HD LED-backlit display with 16:9 aspect ratio. Other features remains same as ME 1014, only features that sets ME 1015 is that it has additional feature of WLAN.These laptops boasts HCL’s unique features includes :

•     SPLIT ME - Automatically splits heavy files for easy mailing
•     LOCK ME - secures external ports from unauthorized usage
•     Secure ME - prevents other users from accessing particular software
•     Erase ME - Disallows retrievals of erased sensitive files
•     Encrypt ME - prevents tampering of data when it is in transit

HCL Infiniti M A365 Pro Desktop is equipped with 18.5-inch widescreen display and packed in a micro-ATX cabinet. It supports upto 2 TB of HDD and upto 16GB DDR3 RAM. It also comes with a 3-button optical mouse and a DVD Writer. Other features includes:

    Folder & File Lock Security: A software lock that will LOCK User specific files & folders.
    HCL Device Lock: To prevent theft of data, USB ports can be enabled /disabled and also denies access to Floppy Drives, Optical Disk Drives and Hard Disk, Logical Drives.
    HCL Application Lock: To prevent unwanted usage, Internet & other Applications can be blocked.
    Asset Management: Helps in monitoring the health of desktop and alerts to the IT administrator through e-mail and pop-ups.

HCL announced that these products are available and can be avail by sending sms to 56161- “HCL Desktop” for desktop series and “ME” for laptop series.
Desktops- HCL Desktop Management Software (HDMS). All of these two laptops and one Desktop PC pre-installed Windows 7 Professional Operating System.
