ASUS ROG Phone 8 surfaces in official image

An initial teaser of the ROG Phone 8 provided a glimpse of the upcoming offering, confirming a redesigned camera module. ASUS conducted a blind camera test on its official website, prompting visitors to select the best-looking photo in various scenarios. Upon completing the test, the page unveils the ROG Phone 8, offering a better view of the design of the upcoming device's back panel.

Straight away, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 reveals a boxy frame, a departure from the slim profile of its predecessor. The back panel showcases a dual-tone design, featuring a lighter and darker shade of the same color variant (Grey and Black). The upcoming offering boasts a protruding squarish camera module along the right edge, housing a large sensor, two smaller lenses, and an LED flash unit. The device's bottom section proudly displays the ROG's RGB logo.

The ASUS ROG Phone 8 exhibits curved edges, and a USB-C port is visible on the left edge of the device. Additionally, the test results show pictures referencing 'telephoto (x3)' and 'telephoto (x10)' categories. This suggests the possibility that the ROG Phone 8 series may incorporate a telephoto camera. Furthermore, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
