Vivo V30 and V30 Pro Launched in Indonesia

Vivo has launched the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro in Indonesia, expanding their lineup alongside the previously unveiled Vivo V30 Lite. Both the vanilla and Pro versions boast curved 1.5K displays and 50-megapixel front cameras. Scheduled for release in India on March 7, the Indian variants are expected to mirror their Indonesian counterparts. The Vivo V30 5G base model is priced at IDR 5,999,000 for the 8GB + 256GB option and IDR 6,999,000 for the 12GB + 512GB variant, available in Equatorial Green, Puspa White, and Volcanic Black colors. The Vivo V30 Pro is listed at IDR 8,999,000 for the sole 12GB + 512GB configuration. Featuring curved 1.5K AMOLED displays, 120Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling rate, both models are powered by different chipsets and offer extensive RAM and storage options. They run on Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14, sport advanced camera setups, support fast charging, and come with IP54 ratings and various connectivity options.

Vivo V30 and Vivo 30 Pro India launch date confirmed

Vivo is gearing up to unveil its latest mid-range series in India, teasing the upcoming phone on Flipkart and confirming its launch date on social media. The microsite is already live, offering a glimpse of the smartphone's design and some specifications. Scheduled for March 7, the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro will debut in India, available on Flipkart and Vivo.com. Notably, this marks Vivo's first integration of German camera technology into its midrange V-series. The V30 Pro highlights a triple rear camera setup and Aura Light OIS Portrait feature. Vivo promises enhanced portrait photography with ZEISS Distagon Style Bokeh, offering an anamorphic lens effect for better low-light portraits. Despite its large 5000mAh battery, the V30 Pro claims to be the slimmest phone of 2024. Available in Andaman Blue, Peacock Green, and Classic Black, it features a 120Hz 3D curved panel and a USB-C port at the bottom. Both Vivo V29 and V29 Pro feature sleek designs with curved screens, weighing around 186 grams and 188 grams, respectively. The V29 Pro Himalayan Blue variant boasts a unique 3D particle design, while the V29 offers a color-changing back panel. Both phones feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ certification, and peak brightness of 1300 nits. Under the hood, the V29 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, while the V29 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200. Camera-wise, both phones sport a triple camera setup, with the V29 Pro featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel portrait lens, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. The phones also offer a 50-megapixel front camera. Both models pack a 4600mAh battery with 80W flash charge support, promising rapid charging times of just 18 minutes from 0 to 50 percent.

Vivo has discreetly introduced the Vivo V30 in select global markets, featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone boasts a 3D curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Evidently a rebranded Vivo S18, the device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. Expected to launch in over 30 markets, including India, the pricing remains undisclosed. Running on Android 14 with FuntouchOS 14, the Vivo V30 showcases a 6.78-inch full-HD AMOLED display with HDR10+ support.
