The impending launch of Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ in India, succeeding the Realme 11 Pro series, has generated anticipation. Recent leaks have revealed details about the upcoming Realme 12 Pro series, encompassing chipset and camera specifications. Now, indications of an imminent India launch have emerged, as the phones, bearing model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840, were reportedly spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, according to a Gizmochina report.
Additionally, the high-end Pro+ model was recently sighted on Indonesia's SDPPI certification site. Although Realme has not officially announced the Realme 12 series, it is anticipated to follow the structure of its predecessor, comprising base, Pro, and Pro+ models. Recent leaks have suggested that all Realme 12 series smartphones might run on Qualcomm's mid-range 5G-supported Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Another leak has indicated that the Realme 12 Pro+ could feature a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor with a periscope telephoto lens and 3x optical zoom, while the Realme 12 Pro might incorporate a Sony IMX709 sensor with 2x optical zoom. Priced at approximately CNY 2,000 (roughly Rs. 23,000), the Realme 12 series is poised to continue the brand's competitive positioning.
