The leak encompasses official renderings of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, including the Standard Plus version, detailed color options, design enhancements, and a comprehensive overview of confirmed and rumored specifications for the entire Galaxy S24 lineup. The report showcases official renderings of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in four captivating Titanium-themed colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and a new addition, Titanium Yellow, replacing the previous Green option. A notable departure from the previous generation includes the introduction of Titanium as the material for the Galaxy S24 Ultra's middle frame.

A significant design upgrade for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is the transition from a curved to a straight screen, a prominent change that retains the consistent display size with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The report also highlights improved cooling capabilities, featuring a vapor chamber 1.9 times larger than the previous generation, enhancing the device's ability to handle demanding tasks seamlessly.

In the realm of photography, the rear camera housing maintains similarities with the previous generation, but Samsung introduces a noteworthy addition—a new 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus maintain the identical design of their predecessors, featuring differing display sizes. Available in Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow, these models lack the Titanium frame seen in the Ultra version. Both devices boast enhanced heat dissipation, with improvements of 1.5 and 1.6 times, respectively.

A key highlight of the Galaxy S24 Series lies in its advanced AI capabilities, promising a transformative user experience. These capabilities power various applications and functionalities, including real-time translation in messaging apps, generative AI for photo editing and enhancement, and an augmented search experience across the device. As the leak unfolds, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series emerges as a technological marvel, offering a harmonious blend of cutting-edge design, advanced camera capabilities, and AI-driven functionalities. Enthusiasts eagerly await the official release, poised to experience the next evolution in Samsung's flagship smartphone series.

Google Messages New Features

The default messaging app on the majority of Android phones, Google Messages, has undergone a significant update today, introducing a variety of new features that promise to enhance your conversations. The revamped user interface maintains a familiar appearance, resembling the widely popular messaging app on iPhones, iMessage. One notable addition is the Photomoji feature, allowing users to extract objects from their photos, turning them into personalized photomojis that can be sent as reactions in Google Messages. Shared in group chats, these photomojis can be utilized by other users, akin to Apple's live stickers feature.

Another addition is the Voice Moods feature, enabling users to send voice notes with enhanced emphasis. Following the recording of the message, users can choose from nine different emotions, such as laughter or party fever. Upon sending the voice note, the recipient hears the message accompanied by a visual effect, highlighting the selected voice's mood. Borrowed from iMessage, Google Messages now incorporates Screen Effects, offering fully immersive, vibrant effects that take over the entire screen when sending specific messages. For instance, typing 'I love you' triggers a screen effect where the heart emoji explodes on the screen. Google mentions the presence of over 15 screen effect prompt words.

Apple fixes 2 security vulnerabilities on iPhone, iPad & Mac

In response to two critical security flaws, Apple promptly took action by releasing security updates. These vulnerabilities impacted iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices and represented severe weaknesses in software that hackers exploited before the software creators were aware of them. The specific bugs were identified in WebKit, a web browser engine used in Apple's devices, allowing attackers to gain access to sensitive information and execute harmful code on vulnerable devices by deceiving users into visiting malicious websites.

To address these security concerns, Apple issued emergency updates for devices running iOS 17.1.2, iPadOS 17.1.2, macOS Sonoma 14.1.2, and Safari 17.1.2. These updates incorporated enhancements to how the software verifies and secures data input, with the aim of preventing the exploitation of these vulnerabilities.

Clément Lecigne, a security researcher from Google's Threat Analysis Group (TAG), discovered and reported these zero-day vulnerabilities. While Apple has not confirmed any ongoing attacks exploiting these flaws, Google TAG researchers have a track record of uncovering and disclosing zero-day vulnerabilities used in targeted attacks, particularly against high-profile individuals like journalists and politicians. Apple's swift response is part of an ongoing effort, collaborating with security researchers, to safeguard devices and proactively prevent potential threats from compromising user data and privacy.

Nothing Phone (2) gets a price cut in India

Carl Pei has announced a substantial reduction in the phone's prices, slashing them by Rs 5,000. With these revised prices, the Nothing Phone 2 now competes with devices like the OnePlus 11R and Samsung's Galaxy S21 FE. Notably, the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is now priced at Rs 39,999. Moving up to the 12GB+256GB model, this variant is available at Rs 44,999, while the top-tier 12GB+512GB flagship is priced at Rs 49,999.

To sweeten the deal further, Nothing is offering a special bonus – purchase the Phone 2, and you can acquire the 65W CMF Power GaN charger for Rs 1,999, a significant reduction from its regular price of Rs 2,999. Given that the Phone 2 doesn't include a charger in the package, securing this triple-charging-port accessory becomes an attractive option. It's worth noting that this charger can efficiently charge both the Phone 2 and many other daily gadgets simultaneously.

As for the specifications, the Nothing Phone 2, operating on Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13 OS, features a 6.7-inch full-HD LTPO OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. Powered by Qualcomm's 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the phone comes with up to 12GB RAM and a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies, it includes a 32-megapixel camera. The distinctive Glyph Interface, with LED strips beneath the transparent back panel, adds a unique touch to the device, marking a standout feature. With storage options up to 512GB, the phone is supported by a 4,700mAh battery, offering 45W wired charging and 5W Qi wireless charging.

How to use Secret Code for Chat Lock in WhatsApp

WhatsApp has implemented a new feature called the secret code functionality to address a vulnerability in the security of personal chats. Previously, users could use the same fingerprint password for both unlocking their phones and accessing private WhatsApp conversations. This meant that if someone registered their fingerprint on your device, they could potentially gain access to your WhatsApp chats.

With the latest update, WhatsApp has significantly improved security by introducing the secret code feature to all users. This feature allows you to create a unique password using words or emojis, ensuring that your conversations are protected with a passcode known only to you. Interestingly, the company's top executive revealed that you can easily access locked chats by entering the secret code in the search bar, with the option to customize settings accordingly. Meta's CEO announced the introduction of a confidential code for chat lock on WhatsApp, providing users with the ability to protect their conversations with an exclusive password. With this new feature, locked chats will only be visible upon entering the secret code in the search bar, ensuring that no one accidentally stumbles upon your highly personal discussions.

To enhance the privacy of your WhatsApp chats, you no longer need to navigate through individual chat settings. Instead, you can conveniently lock a chat by long-pressing it. To ensure the confidentiality of your chats, access the list of locked chats, tap on the three dots at the top, proceed to Chat Lock settings, activate the 'Hide locked chats' option, and establish a secret code that you can easily recall. By following these steps, your locked chats will no longer be visible in the main chat window, offering a higher level of privacy compared to the current WhatsApp design, which displays a shortcut for locked chats when swiping down on the chat screen. To access your locked chats, input the secret code into the search bar. It's important to note that this visibility is only temporary and will disappear once you exit the app, providing a secure and private chat environment.
