Nubia Z60 Ultra Launched

The ZTE sub-brand Nubia has launched the Nubia Z60 Ultra, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, as its latest flagship smartphone. This new device boasts a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a robust 6,000mAh battery. With an IP68-rated build ensuring water and dustproofing, the Nubia Z60 Ultra showcases a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Available in Black and Silver color options, the smartphone offers three RAM and storage configurations, with prices starting at $599 (approximately Rs. 49,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at $649 (roughly Rs. 54,000), and the top-end version with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage is available at $779 (approximately Rs. 65,000).

The Nubia Z60 Ultra operates on the Android 14-based MyOS14 and features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 400ppi pixel density, and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS and f/1.59 aperture. The camera unit also includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 12-megapixel under-display camera.

Storage options range up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, dual GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS. The smartphone includes speakers with DTS HD sound and various sensors such as ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, infrared remote control, and proximity sensor. Additionally, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. With a substantial 6,000mAh battery, the Nubia Z60 Ultra is designed with dimensions of 163.98x76.35x8.78mm and a weight of 246 grams, and it carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
