ASUS launches ZenBook 14 OLED laptop

On December 15, Taiwanese electronics brand ASUS unveiled the ZenBook 14 OLED laptop, marking the first in its lineup powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors. Positioned as a consumer laptop in the thin-and-light category, it weighs 1.2kg and measures 14.9mm at its thinnest point. The laptop offers impressive specifications, including up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB PCle Gen 4 SSD for onboard storage.

The ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED boasts three differently tuned 14-inch OLED displays. The base display option features full HD resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate. The mid-tier and top-tier variants offer a 3K resolution panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a touchscreen option. All three displays share a 14-inch size, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and support DisplayHDR technology.

Google Chrome will begin restricting third-party cookies in January, aiming for complete disablement by mid-2024

Government Releases High-Risk Warning for Users of Samsung Mobile Phones

The Indian government has recently issued heightened security alerts, specifically targeting users of Samsung Galaxy phones. The security advisory, issued by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) on December 13, emphasizes multiple vulnerabilities affecting millions of Samsung Galaxy phones, encompassing both older and newer models. 

Categorized as high-risk, the security alert underscores the critical importance for existing Samsung users to promptly update their phone's operating system or firmware. CERT highlighted, "Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Samsung products that could allow an attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions, access sensitive information, and execute arbitrary code on the targeted system."
